A few words about our work...
Since our inception in 1967, when founders Bill & Marilyn Bair answered God's call and began taking foster teens into their own home, The Bair Foundation has been committed to providing quality care and social services dedicated to the treatment, restoration and empowerment of children, youth and families.
Although foster care is our primary program, everything we do is about restoring and strengthening the family. The range of services The Bair Foundation has developed, nurtured, and implemented over the years was designed to meet every need that has confronted foster children and families in crisis. Through Therapeutic & Family Foster Care, children and teens are able to live in a safe, loving, and stable home.
Our Kinship program is a vital element for preserving family roots when the child is not living with their birth parents. Kinship families are responsible for preventing thousands of children from entering the foster care system.
![]() Become A Foster Parent
Foster care is Christ's love in ACTION. "Whoever welcomes this child in my name, welcomes me." - Luke 9:48. Please prayerfully consider opening your heart & your home to our community's foster children and teens.
Church Presentations
As a Christian ministry, we rely on churches to help us reach out to potential foster parents. It is not our wish to change the mission focus of your church or to disrupt worship in any way. We're simply asking for five minutes before your announcements to introduce our ministry.
![]() Kinship Families Needs
Many kinship families need your help with everyday, basic items in order to care for these new additions to their homes. Kinship care allows children to remain with family members, godparents or any adult who has a kinship bond with a child.
