In Buncombe Baptist Association we want to see as many churches as possible participate in mission work.  We will help train your Missions Council or connect you with other churches that are willing to work together in mission partnerships.  Every church is a mission-sending station.

Experiencing God Through Missions

For groups interested in short term projects in Western North Carolina and elsewhere, go to www.egtminc.com and click on "Volunteer Opportunities."  Most projects are 1-2 days in length.  Experiencing God Through Missions meets regularly at the Buncombe Baptist Resource Center.  For more info please contact Wayne Smith 687-2511.

Disaster Relief

We have Ten Disaster Relief Trailer Units in our association and many more teams available to serve from many of our churches.  Training is available each year sponsored by our state convention in various locations.  For information on the next best training for your church call the BSCNC at 1-800-395-5102 and speak to Gaylon Moss at extension 333.

Wyoming/Montana and Eastern Canada Partnerships
Two trips to Wyoming in 2006 kicked off our Wyoming/Montana partnership.  Current requests from Montana have expanded the focus.  Pray that many of our teams will link with partnership opportunities in these areas in 2009.  Specifics are available at www.ncmissions.org or by calling the BSCNC Partnership Missions department.

Overseas Partnerships
Through the BSCNC, Crossfire, and many other relationships formed in our churches, there are a number of foreign opportunities available.
